Ambros Labs currently ships to Canada and the United States only. That said, import and export regulations for Research Use Only (RUO) products are nuanced, and we are continually evaluating expansion into additional regions.

For international inquiries, please contact us at [email protected] to determine eligibility and shipping options on a case-by-case basis.

We do not dropship. All orders are fulfilled exclusively from our owned inventory in Canada.

  1. Fulfillment & Processing

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

Weekend processing may occur depending on order volume and staffing. However, carrier pickup on weekends is not guaranteed and depends on the carrier and service level selected.

  1. Shipping Regions

  • Canada: We ship domestically using a variety of carriers to ensure cost management for you
  • United States: We exclusively use FedEx due to their proven cross-border handling of Research Use Only (RUO) materials
  • Mexico (en): We exclusively use FedEx due to their proven cross-border handling of Research Use Only (RUO) materials. All packages include commercial invoices with Spanish-language customs declarations and regulatory disclaimers to expedite clearance and minimize risk during import.
  • International: Please contact [email protected] to determine eligibility and shipping options on a case-by-case basis
  1. Shipping Options

We offer multiple service levels, depending on your location and carrier availability, with the most cost-effective rates for each being displayed in real-time at checkout.

Free shipping is available on orders with a subtotal over $500 CAD, after any discounts have been applied.

  1. Packaging & Delivery

  • All shipments are packed discreetly
  • We do not offer cold shipping. All Ambros Labs products are lyophilized and shipped in vacuum-sealed vials, which are stable under normal shipping conditions
  • Signature upon delivery is optional (where available) and can be selected at checkout
  • Tracking information (if applicable) will be emailed to you and is accessible via the carrier’s website
  1. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

Ambros Labs is not responsible for packages once they have been transferred to the shipping carrier. This includes:

  • Carrier delays
  • Package damage or loss
  • Customs holds or seizures on international shipments

We recommend shipping insurance at checkout for high-value orders.

Insurance claims for lost or damaged packages must be filed according to carrier procedures, with the carrier, and not with Ambros Labs. If insurance is not selected or is voided, refunds or replacements will not be issued for lost, damaged or seized shipments.

We may review exceptional cases at our discretion to support customers experiencing unusual issues.

  1. Canadian Shipping Considerations

Given Ambros Labs does not dropship and ships exclusively from our own inventory, all shipments within Canada are considered domestic and are not subject to import clearance or customs-related delays.

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Carrier capacity and regional service levels
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Weather conditions or natural disruptions
  • Operational delays outside our control

Ambros Labs works directly with shipping carriers to resolve delivery issues and will make every reasonable effort to notify customers of any major disruptions, reroute packages where possible, or switch carriers if necessary to ensure reliable delivery.

  1. United States Customs & Import Compliance

Ambros Labs ships to the United States with full commercial documentation and in accordance with Canadian export law and U.S. import classifications for RUO materials. We do not ship any products restricted under U.S. Import Alert 66-41, which includes all GLP‑1 analogs, as clearly indicated on the relevant product pages.

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Customs inspections, detentions, or documentation requests
  • Regulatory-related import enforcement or alerts
  • Regional service disruptions or carrier delays

Ambros Labs makes every effort to review and adhere to current U.S. Import Alerts to ensure the products we ship can be imported into the U.S. Real-time updates impacting researcher shipments will be promptly communicated and actioned to avoid unnecessary issues. Additionally, our handling of export and customs documentation exceeds standard practices for RUO products. Nonetheless, certain compounds can still be subject to discretionary enforcement by U.S. authorities.

In such rare cases, we will respond promptly to any documentation or compliance requests to help ensure your order clears and reaches you as quickly as possible.

While we expect issues to be rare, Ambros Labs is not responsible for packages that are delayed, held, or seized by U.S. authorities.

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations
  • Confirm that the compounds they intend to order are not subject to active Import Alerts or restrictions
  • Manage any disputes or claims directly with the shipping carrier

We strongly recommend that U.S. researchers:

  • Select shipping insurance at checkout for added protection in the event of loss, damage, or seizure

8(a). Mexican Customs & Import Compliance (EN – Versión en español disponible a continuación)

Ambros Labs ships to Mexico with full commercial documentation in accordance with Canadian export law and Mexican import classifications for RUO (Research Use Only) materials. All packages include Spanish-language commercial invoices and customs declarations to support proper clearance through SAT and COFEPRIS.

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by:

  • Customs inspections, detentions, or document verification
  • Discretionary enforcement or interpretation by COFEPRIS or other authorities
  • Regional service disruptions, carrier delays, or clearance history tied to consignee or location

Ambros Labs actively monitors cross-border import conditions and COFEPRIS guidelines to ensure we ship only materials intended strictly for research. We include Spanish-language inserts, regulatory disclaimers, and documentation that exceeds standard practices for RUO shipments.

While we expect most shipments to clear without issue, certain compounds may still be subject to discretionary review or hold by Mexican customs or health authorities. In such cases, we will respond promptly to any documentation or compliance requests to help expedite resolution.

Ambros Labs is not responsible for shipments that are delayed, held, or seized by Mexican authorities.

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Confirm that the compounds they intend to order can be lawfully imported and used in their jurisdiction
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and intended use limitations
  • Manage any customs disputes or carrier claims directly if applicable

We strongly recommend that researchers in Mexico:

  • Select shipping insurance at checkout for added protection in the event of loss, damage, or regulatory delay
