Description

Cagrilintide is a synthetic long-acting amylin analogue, developed as a research compound targeting amylin receptors in the hypothalamus and brainstem. It represents an emerging class of amylin-based research peptides distinct from GLP-1 receptor agonists, and is currently the subject of active clinical research both as a standalone compound and in combination with semaglutide (CagriSema). It is one of the most closely followed investigational amylin analogues in the current pharmacological literature.

Researchers have investigated Cagrilintide across a broad range of in vitro and in vivo models, with published Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trial data examining its interactions with amylin receptors and its role in appetite regulation, gastric emptying modulation, and energy homeostasis pathways. Of particular interest to researchers is Cagrilintide’s complementary mechanism to GLP-1 receptor agonists — acting through distinct amylin receptor pathways rather than incretin pathways — making it a valuable research tool for studying additive or synergistic metabolic effects in combination research protocols. Published research has further examined Cagrilintide in models relating to body weight modulation, glycaemic regulation, and cardiovascular markers.

Ambros Labs supplies Cagrilintide to qualified researchers across Canada from our Canadian inventory. Every batch is independently tested by a third-party Canadian laboratory using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with verifiable Certificates of Analysis available for every batch. All orders ship same-day from Canada with full chain of custody documentation.
